Gabe, Lisa and baby Axel, having just moved from Princeton, New Jersey to Greifswald, Germany, thought that it would be fun to document the experience and keep in touch with friends and family via a blog.

Greifswald is a small-ish university town on the Baltic coast of Germany (way up North) and is a ferry ride away from Copenhagen and not far from Poland. Gabe is working at the Max Planck Institute for Plasma Physics here for his second postdoc. Lisa is spending all her waking (and some sleeping) hours caring for little Axel but is hoping to get some knitting and sewing done somehow and come up with some more knitting patterns to publish. A work life will hopefully resume for her in the next few months.
All three of us are excited for the adventures that lay ahead!
